        BEWARE OF DIVINERS IN CHURCH

Acts 8 vs. 9 -12:

“But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great,  to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.”  And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.”

It is not everyone in church that came with the mind to worship God. We have different people in church with different motives. Many are in church to find wives, husbands, children and to have all manner of breakthroughs.

Truthbetold, very few people in church today came to worship God. There is no argument that many people are in church simply for God to solve their problems. That is why they are  busy running from one church to the other looking for the latest prophet in town to take care of their wants. To such people, it does not matter if the prophet is genuine or false. Once he has the power to solve their problems, he is adjudged a true man of God.

But the bad news is this; it is not all miracle workers that are true men of God. Never be deceived, Satan has his own kind of miracles too. Only those with the ability to discern the source of the power behind the miracle can know the difference.

Simon the sorcerer is a good example of how people can mistake a magician for a great man of God. Unfortunately, many believers are more interested in miracles than knowing its source. This is dangerous because many have been trapped by false prophets because, they are seeking miracles by all means and from all source.

Truthbetold, nothing good ever comes from Satan. His only job is to kill, steal and destroy.

Whatever you receive from Satan is accompanied by sorrow and death. Therefore, we must beware of getting involved with his agents.

Satan’s agents are all over the churches posing as genuine prophets of God. Don’t be their next victim. Their latest tool of deception is prophecy. They have given it a new name. According to them, what they do now is called “Forensic and microscopic” prophecy. It is a good show they are putting up to deceive the ignorance and the gullible. One thing about Satan is that he likes the “spectacular”.

When you hear some of these jargons by people who claim to be prophets, please be careful because there are principally designed to deceive the ignorant. Satan likes loves attention and honour from men. So, he is always busy inventing things that will make men focus on him.

Truthbetold, many ministers have become businessmen and women in the house of God. Their business is to dupe people in the name of God. They are false prophets posing as real men of God. They don’t care about your soul. They want your money. To get it, they have designed programmes with catchy titles to attract people.

Brethren, Satan is indeed moving like a wounded lion seeking whom to devour. Be careful where you go and whom you follow. Be careful who lays hand on you in the name of impartation. You might receive what will destroy you.

I have observed with great dismay that the church has opened her door far too wide for the enemy. Prosperity gospel has almost sacked the truth from the church. As a result, many believers in Christ have become spiritually blind. This has given the enemy the opportunity to do as he pleases in our midst and we are applauding him.

In their quest for money, many men of God have turned the house of God into a theater of comedy. The Holy altar has become the place where comedians stand to crack jokes some of which mock the church. Why? The men of God who do this are indeed gathering souls for their kingdom and not for God’s kingdom. We should beware of such places.

If we deviate from the truth, we become false teachers and prophets who care only about their belly.

Truth be told, the apostles of old were not greedy. Their focus was not material things of this world. There were after souls and not after money. Their concern was to build the kingdom of God and not build their own empires. But most ministers of God today are doing the opposite. How can we call such people true men of God?

We have come to a point where some men of God are duping their own followers, the very people who call them father. How? How did we get there?

What sort of father dupes his own children? Yet, the children in their ignorance are happy to be duped. They are the same people who defend them when someone speaks against this evil.

As sad as it is, I have realized that followers of a false prophet are ready to kill anyone who speaks against his work. He is God in their eyes, so he is never wrong.

Why is it so? It is because men have rejected the truth and have embraced falsehood.

True men of God stand against evil and evil minded people. They expose them to protect the flock of God. But many men of God today do not only encourage false prophets, they are false prophets themselves.

Satan has infiltrated the church and the prophetic ministry is his platform. Stop running after so-called prophets who display their so-called forensic prophecies by telling you how much money is in your wallet, the colour of your pant, your telephone number all those foolish  things which make you think they great men of God. These are not prophets of God. They are diviners with entertainment skills. They use those things to capture your mind.

What business has God with how much money is in your wallet?

True prophets of God are not interested in your money. They have no business telling you how much money is in your wallet or bank account.  They have better work to do than give time to such nonsense. Those who do that will end up robbing you. Be careful!

You attend a so-called prophetic conference and all attention is on the so-called prophet. He exalts himself in all things. His followers exalt him above the Lord Jesus Christ. These are  magicians in the house of God who like Simon the sorcerer have captured the minds of people with their art.

Simon did so much magic in Samaria. Due to their ignorance, he became a great man of God in their eyes, yet he was a magician. This same thing is happening in the church today. Magicians have become great men of God in the eyes of people.

Who has bewitched us?

When will the church wake up and stop these people from deceiving God’s people?

Where are church leaders who would act like Apostle Peter and others?

Where are the good shepherds willing to lay down their lives for the sheep?

Simon did so much. But his trade ended when Peter and other true men of God with genuine anointing and love for God and his people appeared on the scene. They read through him and discerned what was in his heart when he offered money to Peter to buy the anointing. He got seriously rebuked for it.

“The anointing is not for sale,” Peter told him.

Acts 8 vs. 18-23:

“And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”  But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

Many people we see as prophets in our church today are diviners. Like Simon, they pretend to have repented, but their eyes are on money. If Simon had received the anointing by paying money, he would have done nothing than to dupe people with it.

All those prophets selling anointed water, oil, handkerchief and all manner of so-called anointed materials are not different from Simon. They are either rebellious men of God, though genuinely anointed, but merchandising the gift of God which makes them workers or iniquity, or are magicians like Simon who pretend to be men of God but are deceiving people with sorcery.

Don’t tell me not to judge. I am judging no one. I am preaching the word of God. If this word offends you, then open your eyes and see the truth.

Truthbetold, the church of God  has become a fertile ground for diviners to practise their craft and we have welcomed them. We have come to a place where many church leaders that have no longer have message for their followers are busy patronising them.

People no longer go to church to hear the word of God. They go to meet diviners who pose as prophets. At the end, they go home with more troubles than they went to church with. How does this glorify the Lord?

Why have we become so gullible that we are tossed about by all manner of doctrines?

Where is discernment in the church?

Why do we go to church to worship men and not God?

Why can’t we judge prophecies anymore?

Why has prophecy replaced the word of God?

Don’t you know that prophecy will fail, but not one word of God will fail?

Don’t you know that God shall judge all things?

Why are church leaders quiet over all the evil going on in the body of Christ?

Dear man of God, why are you conniving with false prophets to deceive the people who call you father?

Does a father rob his own children?

And you Christians, who have refused to follow the truth, if you like keep quiet, run after false prophets, worship them, sell your properties, empty your bank account to buy their anointing, make them your god, but bear in mind that one day, judgment will come upon this earth and all us of will reap the fruit of our labour.

If we have chosen to follow the flesh, we will no doubt reap corruption, if we followed the Spirit of God, we will reap everlasting life. The choice is ours.

In whatever you do, remember this word and make it your guide:

Mathew 7 vs. 21-23:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”

Just note one thing; on the day of judgment, many prophets, miracle workers and healers in the church shall be cast away.

If the man you call “father, oracle of God, greatest prophet” of our time is cast out into the lake of fire because he was a worker of iniquity, I wonder what will happen to you. Think about it and advice yourself. Beware of diviners in church. God bless you.
