The Western Regional Office of National Security has successfully intercepted a significant cache of suspected Electrical Company of Ghana (ECG) materials in an operation conducted at Kansawurodo, Sekondi-Takoradi. The materials, which were found hidden in an uncompleted building and a nearby hideout, include 46 cable drums, electrical switches, meters, and iron bars.
This recovery marks a major step in curbing the illegal trade and unauthorized use of ECG assets. Authorities are currently investigating the origin and intended use of the seized materials.
