THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING
The world is filled up with selfish people who care about no one but themselves. Once they are fine, then everything else is fine. To such people, it does not matter if others are hungry and dying; once they are fine, then everything is good.
Because of such people, so many people have lost hope in God. Unfortunately, many of these people are also in church claiming to love Jesus. But the last time I checked, our Lord Jesus Christ is full of love and care. He is the Master Giver who gave His life for mankind. How then can someone who does not care about his brother or sister claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ?
Truthbetold, having a lot of negative and selfish people all over the place does not mean that we do not have good and caring people around any more. We have them. But the question is, what sort of person are you? Selfish or selfless person? Do you care about others, or is life all about you? This is actually the crux of the matter.
Truthbetold; so many people are complaining of how bad others treat them, but never pause for a moment to see what they do to others, which might even be worse than what others are doing to them. We all want to be well treated, but how many of us are treating our fellow brothers and sisters well?
Truthbetold; None of us want to be cheated, yet we cheat on others. We want our spouses to be faithful to us, but we are busy cheating on them. We don’t anyone to steal our belongings, but we are stealing what belong to others. Likewise, we want the government to make the economy good for our businesses to thrive, but we treat our employees with disrespect and pay them peanuts as if they were some second class citizens.
We want our children to attend the best schools, but we don’t care what happens to other people’s wards who cannot go to school. Yet, we keep complaining how mean others are to us. That’s really hypocritical. Isn’t it?
Truthbetold, if you want to be shown love, it is high time you started showing love to others and love will come back to you without asking for it. It is certainly an illusion to treat people badly and expect to be treated well by others. You are deceiving yourself if you think such is possible.
Truthbetold, the Bible makes it clear that God can never be mocked. Every one of us must reap what we have sown and what we are sowing, even now(Galatians 6 vs. 7)
So, let us do unto others as we would have them do unto others. If you really want to be treated well by others, then you must start by treating others well because what goes around always comes around. That is the law and the prophets(Mathew 7 vs. 12) Let us stop being selfish. If we are truly the children of God, then we must show love to others. Jesus Christ said that love is the identity of his followers. It is time to be selfless. Take a decision to kick the demon called selfishness out of your life. God bless you.
