The entertainment industry gets bigger and better. The beauty pageantry offlate has become quite an influential status to most Tom and Harry’s and has gradually evolved to the grassroots level. The Tongu constituencies ( North, South and Central) in the Volta Region has also joined the terrain of contemporary pageantry as it engages in the Face of Tongu 2019.

Rasbee Empire in collaboration with OB One Entertainment as the organizing crew, slates the Face of Tongu for the 26th December 2019 at 7pm inside Ayiee Humphrey Yard – Adidome.

The contestants obviously are housed hence they meet up with delegates in persons of Some Queen Mothers of the Tongu constituency; The Former GMB Queen, Emefa Adeti a native of Bakpa in Central Tongu; Okyeame Kwame, Musician; Sherifa Gunu, Musician and Ambassador of Tourism and Culture; Bubune, the former 1st Runner up of GMB pageantry also from the Tongu District and Mr Harry Ahorlu, the Ambassador of Child Labour Ghana also hailing from the Tongu District.

The Face of Tongu 2019 Pageantry seeks to achieve the following objectives; To empower, instill and boost confidence among the constituents of Tongu especially the Ladies, To kick out or abolish Child Labour which is rampant and rapidly taking over the constituency as children are mostly found fishing on the Volta Lake at the expense of their education, Also to create and build a good rapport between the Ladies of Tongu and the past pageantry contestants of GMB that hail from the constituency so they can learn to appreciate and sell out the rich culture of Tongus as they did in the GMB Pageantry of past years and lastly inspire the Tongu ladies to keep their head up high and chase their dreams without giving up.

This is a good initiative with distinctive objectives that makes the constituency and country as a whole better hence all natives of the constituency and beyond are to come in their numbers to support, learn and build a great Tongu this December. We look forward to seeing you!!
